1. The deal

Awan is provided by FF DEV STUDIO (202603234793), Malaysia ("we"). By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you use Awan for an organisation, you confirm you're allowed to accept these terms for it.

2. The beta

Awan is in private beta. Features will change, some will break, and we may reset limits or pause access while we fix things. During the beta, payments run in test mode and nobody is charged; we'll tell you in the app before real billing starts.

3. Plans and limits

• Free: 25 talks, plenty of dictation and 25 agent messages every 30 days.
• Pro: $20 a month, or $16 a month billed yearly. Unlimited talk and dictation, 150 agent messages every 30 days.
• Max: $100 a month, or $80 a month billed yearly. Unlimited talk and dictation, 1,000 agent messages every 30 days.

"Unlimited" means normal personal use; we may slow down or pause accounts that look automated or abusive, and we'll tell you why. Limits reset on a rolling 30-day cycle from when you signed up. When you hit your agent limit, agent messages pause until the next cycle; talk keeps working on Pro and Max. Prices are in US dollars and may exclude taxes.

Students can get 50% off their first month of Pro by emailing us from a school address or with a student ID, for new and existing subscribers.

4. Cancelling and refunds

Plans are month to month (or year to year) with no lock-in. Cancel in Settings and you keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for. We don't refund part-periods, but if something went wrong on our side, email us and we'll make it right.

5. Using Awan well

Don't use Awan to break the law, to harm people, to get into systems or accounts you're not allowed into, to generate spam, or to get around the limits of your plan. Agents act on your instructions, on your Mac and in the tools you connect: you're responsible for what you ask them to do, and for checking important work (messages, payments, deletions) before it goes out. Awan asks before risky steps, but you have the final say.

6. Your content

What you put in and what Awan makes for you is yours. You give us permission to process it only as needed to run the service, as described in the privacy policy. AI output can be wrong; treat it as a helpful draft, not advice.

7. Our stuff

The source code of Awan, its server and this website is open source under the MIT licence. The Hai Awan and Awan names and characters belong to FF Dev Studio. Awan includes other open-source components (such as the OpenAI Codex CLI, Apache-2.0) that remain under their own licences. These terms cover the hosted service FF Dev Studio runs; a copy you build and run yourself is governed by the licence alone.

8. Liability

Awan is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under Malaysian consumer law that can't be excluded.

9. Ending things

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms; unless it's serious, we'll warn you first.

10. The small bits

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. If we change them in a way that matters, we'll give you notice in the app first. Questions: [email protected].
